"As ready as I'll ever be," She breathed, watching the stream of flying demon's headed straight for them. She tightened her grip on her wooden bow. "If either of us die, let us hope we find each other in the next life, yes?"
She let her arrow fly as her demon companion cut and slashed demon's in half with a whip of green light. The black-haired priestess moved back as a demon tried to attack her, growling. "You're just a stupid human! And you're in our way!" It hissed, and she mercilessly shot it down with an arrow as it flew at her again.
"Yes, I may be a human, but I have a village to protect." She closed her eyes and let another arrow fly straight for the heart of the largest demon there. It vanished with a screech in a flash of brilliant light.
